A Letter from the Secretary-General
Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the first annual KNIGHTMUN conference, which will be held in-person at North Penn High School on October 17th, 2026.
KNIGHTMUN is a student-led conference designed to provide a more equitable Model UN experience to high school students in the Greater Philadelphia area. Our goal is to teach others about diplomacy, foreign policy, and formal debate through engaging committee sessions and workshops. Whether this is your first conference or your fifth conference, we hope that you will find yourself challenged through our various levels of debate.
We will host General Assembly and Crisis committees, with topics ranging from climate change to alien microbial outbreaks. It is our hope that every delegate will find a committee suitable for their interests.
The Secretariat has been working tirelessly to ensure that KNIGHTMUN will facilitate captivating discourse, encourage students to voice their opinions, and provide the best overall conference experience for all delegates.
Our conference is run entirely by Model UN students from North Penn High School, Wissahickon High School, and Upper Dublin High School. With KNIGHTMUN, we aspire to create an academic environment where delegates feel emboldened to speak about important issues and forge new connections with others in their committees.
